Managing Partner
Mr. Moosa Nabeel is the Managing Partner of Audit & Assurance Partners LLP, a CA Maldives Licensed Auditor, and a CMDA Licensed Investment Advisor Representative. He advises clients on audit readiness, financial reporting, taxation, IFRS application, internal controls, finance function improvement and investment-related advisory matters.
He has over a decade of experience in audit, assurance, taxation and financial reporting advisory, with senior-level experience at Deloitte Maldives and PwC Maldives. His work covers SMEs, family businesses, large corporates, regulated entities and listed companies, with a focus on improving reporting quality, managing compliance risks, strengthening controls and supporting better financial decision-making.
Mr. Nabeel has led statutory audits under International Standards on Auditing and financial reporting engagements under IFRS for banks, insurance companies, hospitality businesses, trading companies, construction companies, listed entities and large corporates. He has also worked on international reporting engagements involving overseas audit networks and group reporting requirements.
He has strong technical experience in complex accounting areas, including IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss models, IFRS 15, IFRS 16 and IFRS 17. Earlier in his career, he gained regulatory and taxation experience with the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority.
Mr. Nabeel holds an MBA from the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives. He also serves as a member of the Research and Publications Committee of CA Maldives.
